Announced Changes
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This page is where we announce, in advance, changes that affect how your data is processed: adding or replacing a sub-processor, and any change to the Data Processing Agreement that materially reduces your rights or our obligations. Each change is announced here at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you object to a change on data protection grounds, write to contact@store-pilot.net before it takes effect; the Data Processing Agreement §4 says what happens then.
Material changes to the Terms of Service are announced here as well, as its section 14 says, each with the date it takes effect.
Newest first.
2026-10-20 — Leads, chats and order details get a default retention period
Takes effect: November 3, 2026.
Until now, leads and chat transcripts were kept until you set a limit under Settings → Privacy → Delete leads after, the customer's email address on an order was never removed, and the steps a visitor took before an error stayed for as long as that error kept occurring. From the date above, for a site that has not set a limit of its own:
- Leads are deleted 365 days after they were captured.
- Chat transcripts are deleted 365 days after their last message.
- Orders stay, with their amounts, status and dates, but the customer's email address and the link to their visit, browser and lead are removed 365 days after the order was placed.
- The steps a visitor took before an error, and the record that their visit met it, are removed 180 days after that visit last met the error, even while the error itself keeps occurring.
- The automated-traffic verdict of each visit is removed after 2 years, with the per-visit statistics it describes.
This deletes data you already hold. The first nightly run on November 3 removes everything already older than these periods — every lead captured before November 3, 2025, for example. To keep leads longer, set a longer limit under Settings → Privacy → Delete leads after before that date: a limit you set, shorter or longer, replaces the default for leads, chats and order details alike, and a limit you have already set is not changed. Anything you want to keep outside the Platform can be exported from the dashboard as CSV.
The Privacy Policy §4, the Data Processing Agreement §7 and section 4 of the Terms of Service state these periods from today.
2026-10-19 — Paid plans open, and the testing period ends
Takes effect: October 19, 2026 (brought forward from November 2 by the owner's decision).
From this date organizations can choose a paid plan, and section 5 of the Terms of Service stops saying the Service is free while in testing. The plans and their allowances are published in section 5 today:
| Plan | Per month | Per year | Sites | Recorded sessions / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 29 EUR | 290 EUR | 1 | 10000 |
| Growth | 99 EUR | 990 EUR | 5 | 30000 |
| Scale | 249 EUR | 2490 EUR | 10 | 100000 |
| Agency | 149 EUR | 1490 EUR | 25 | 50000 |
A year costs ten months. Prices are net; while the provider named in section 16 is exempt from Polish VAT, invoices carry no VAT, and a business in the European Union with a valid VAT number is invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism. A cancelled subscription returns to the Free plan at the end of the period paid for, and these Terms are governed by Polish law.
Nothing changes for your organization unless an owner chooses a plan. The Free plan and its allowances stay as they are, and an allowance StorePilot has granted at no charge stays in place until we tell you otherwise.
2026-10-19 — The Free plan is one per person
Takes effect: immediately, for sites added from today. No existing site is affected.
A site can be added to an organization on the Free plan only if none of that organization's owners already owns another organization on the Free plan that has a site. Organizations themselves stay free to create, a paid or granted organization is not affected, and an agency working in its client's own organization is not affected either — the client's owners are the ones asked. Section 5 of the Terms of Service says this in one sentence.
2026-10-19 — Paid plans have no free trial
Takes effect: immediately.
Section 6 of the Terms of Service used to promise a 14-day free trial before a paid plan began. It now says that paid plans have no trial: the first month is charged when a plan is chosen, and the Free plan is how the Service is tried. No paid plan has been sold yet — section 5 says the paid service takes effect only when charging begins — so no organization had a trial, and nobody loses one.
2026-10-19 — Session recordings move to object storage
Takes effect: no earlier than November 2, 2026.
Session recording files will be stored in object storage operated by Contabo GmbH (Germany, European Union) — the same company that already hosts the Platform's servers. Nothing about what is recorded, how long it is kept or how it is deleted changes: retention and erasure delete recordings there exactly as they do on our own server today, and we do not use storage that keeps a deleted recording retrievable (object versioning or object lock). The Data Processing Agreement §4 and the Privacy Policy will describe this storage on the day it is switched on.
2026-10-19 — Paid plans will be billed through Stripe
Takes effect: when paid plans open — October 19, 2026.
Payments for paid plans will be taken by Stripe. Stripe receives the billing details of the person who subscribes — name, email, billing address, VAT number and payment card — and never any data about your website's visitors. For those billing details we are the controller, so Stripe is not a sub-processor of the personal data we process on your behalf; it is announced here so the change is visible all the same.
2026-10-19 — How changes are announced
Takes effect: November 18, 2026, for organizations created before October 19, 2026; immediately for organizations created after it.
Until now, the Data Processing Agreement promised an email at least 30 days before a sub-processor was added and before a change that reduces your rights. From the date above, both are announced on this page at least 14 days ahead instead, and you may still object within that period. The provider of the Service and its full details are now stated in one place, section 16 of the Terms of Service.
